Ladies and gentlemen, today we are going to introduce a very attractive digital camcorder, Samsung SC-MX20, which has been a bestseller on Amazon, and now its popularity is still rapidly growing, so I feel I’d better share it with you guys today. Well, let’s find out what’s interesting in this digital camcorder.
The Samsung SC-MX20 makes it easy to capture everything you want to remember and some you might want to forget. It features an optimized recording mode for YouTube, a Schneider Lens with 34x optical zoom, image stabilization and face detection. You can also record up to 16 hours using a 32 GB memory card. The SAMSUNG SC-MX20 also features the longest battery life in its class, lasting up to three hours.
The MX20 uses SD memory cards up to 32GB. There’s no on-board storage, but my review unit came packaged with a 1GB card, which is good for almost twenty minutes of video at the highest quality setting. The camcorder shoots up to 720×480 video at 29.97 frames per second using the MainConcept AVC/AAC H.264 codec (.MP4 files).
There are four quality modes: TV Super Fine, TV Fine, TV Normal, and a special YouTube-friendly Web & Mobile setting. Other settings include iScene (Sports, Portrait, Beach, Snow, High Speed, etc.), White Balance, Exposure (auto/manual), Face Detection, Anti-Shake, Digital Effects, 16:9 or 4:3 mode, Wind Cut, and stuff like that.

With poorly colored video in bright light and dark—and plenty of noise in any conditions—the MX20 can’t keep up with the competition. The menus are streamlined, the manual controls are intuitive, and the swivel grip makes just holding the camcorder fun and easy.
